Play’n GO: Why Book of Dead Rules Cannot Explain Reactoonz

Compare the rule questions raised by an expanding-symbol video slot and a cluster-grid game using Play’n GO’s public descriptions, without importing game settings.

A supplier name does not define one set of slot rules. Play’n GO’s Book of Dead and Reactoonz offer a useful contrast: one public description discusses active paylines and an expanding symbol, while the other describes a cluster grid. The comparison helps readers ask the correct question instead of copying a rule merely because the same studio made both games.

Ask what arrangement is being evaluated

Book of Dead’s product information describes a special expanding symbol during its free-spin feature, with additional awards evaluated along active paylines. Reactoonz is presented as a grid game using matching clusters. A horizontal line drawn through a cluster screenshot is therefore not enough to establish its award condition.

For a payline question, locate the active pattern and relevant direction. For a cluster question, locate the adjacency definition and required group. These are different checks, even when both screens contain rows of symbols.

Distinguish a feature’s state from a permanent symbol value

In Book of Dead’s published description, a symbol is chosen for a special expanding role during a feature. That is not permission to assume every ordinary symbol always expands. Read when the role is assigned and which state it applies to.

Reactoonz describes energy and feature progression tied to its own grid activity. Those labels do not provide a substitute rule for another Play’n GO title. The important question is what the current product says the state changes, not whether an icon looks powerful.

A sequel name is another identification step

The supplier lists a Reactoonz series, including differently named entries. A rule found for the original should remain attributed to that product until the later entry’s own information confirms it. A shared character is not a universal trigger, multiplier or grid specification.

Compare a small set of meaningful fields

Record the exact title, the winning arrangement, the feature state and the condition that resets or changes that state. You can then explain a genuine difference without pretending to know the complete probability distribution.

If a screenshot does not reveal which edition or feature phase it shows, keep that limitation. Neither a large prize caption nor a familiar supplier logo resolves the missing context. This article does not provide RTP figures or a recommended game selection.
