Fixed and Progressive Jackpots: Read the Prize Unit First
Distinguish a fixed award, a growing jackpot pool and a stake multiplier. Check currency, qualification and the point at which a displayed value applies.

“Jackpot” does not identify one calculation. A screen might show a currency amount, a multiple of the bet or a changing pool. Before comparing the largest numbers, work out what each number measures.
A fixed award and a pool answer different questions
A fixed jackpot has an award defined by its rules; a progressive jackpot has a variable pool. Evolution’s Mega Fortune product page is one named example advertising progressive jackpots. This establishes the product type, not a current pool value or eligibility on M2.
“Fixed” also needs a unit. A fixed multiplier of the bet is not necessarily the same cash amount at every stake. Conversely, a stated cash award does not become a multiplier because another game uses one.
Convert only when the basis is explicit
In a hypothetical game, a fixed award of 50 times an eligible two-unit bet equals 100 units. A separate fixed cash award of 100 units stays 100 under its stated assumption. Both display the same result in this example, but they describe different rules.
If the screen says only “100”, you cannot decide which model applies. Check the currency or credit unit and whether “bet” means total stake, a qualifying side bet or another stated amount.
A changing display is not a reserved prize
A progressive meter is not an amount already assigned to your account. Its value may change before an eligible award is determined. Use the actual jackpot rules for the relevant valuation point; a saved promotional picture cannot establish it.
Read qualification separately
Identify the qualifying game, required bet or option if any, and which prize tier is being discussed. Do not infer that raising the stake guarantees access or a better outcome. Eligibility and chance are separate questions, and neither follows from the visual size of the meter.
For a later query, keep the full title, tier name, currency, timestamp and the rule that explains the award basis. A screenshot showing several meters without their labels is insufficient to reconstruct a payment.
