Bonus Buy: Entering a Feature Is Not Buying a Profit

Calculate a hypothetical feature-purchase cost and net result. A bonus entry does not guarantee profit, and its price does not reveal the natural trigger rate.

A bonus purchase can provide a route into a feature where that option is offered. It does not buy a specified profit. Distinguish the entry price from the award the feature eventually produces.

Identify the option before using a multiplier

Pragmatic Play’s Himalayan Wild page publicly describes purchasable Free Spins and Super Free Spins. This named example confirms that feature-purchase options can exist, not that M2 offers them or that every jurisdiction and game has the same choices.

Read the selected option’s own price and starting conditions. Do not use a familiar “100 times” figure from another game as a default. A base bet shown beside a purchase button may be the price basis, not the entire charge.

Work out gross and net separately

Suppose a fictional purchase costs 80 times a selected 0.50-unit base bet. The immediate cost is 40 units. If the feature awards 26 units in total, the net result of that purchase is 26 − 40 = −14 units.

That is an independent cost model. The 26-unit award is not a prediction, and “total award” is defined here as the amount credited from the feature, excluding any separate refund. If a real product reports amounts differently, identify its definition first.

A larger award display can still be below the price

An award described as 52 times a 0.50-unit base bet is 26 units. It is less than the 80-times purchase price in the example. Comparing multiplier labels without their common basis can hide that loss.

Do not reverse-engineer a trigger rate from the price

An 80-times purchase price does not prove a natural feature appears once every 80 base spins. Feature distributions, purchase starting conditions and game configuration may differ. Without the relevant data, that probability remains unknown.

Before committing, check the complete price and whether the action can be cancelled before confirmation. Avoid repeated purchases intended to recover an earlier loss; entry to another feature is still an additional paid decision.

M2 category overview offers related slot context. No price, purchase button, feature availability or expected return is claimed for M2.
